Raksha Kavach is a home healthcare platform operated from India via therakshakavach.com. We connect patients and families with verified nurses, therapists, physicians, laboratory technicians, and other professionals.
3. Eligibility
- You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law.
- Patients and families use the app to request home-care services.
- Staff must complete registration and verification before accepting paid visits.
- You are responsible for keeping your mobile number, OTP, and device secure.
4. The service
Raksha Kavach provides tools to browse services, book home visits, track request status, communicate as needed for care delivery, and manage professional profiles. We do not replace emergency medical services. For life-threatening situations, call local emergency services immediately.
5. Accounts & roles
- Patients / families — provide accurate booking, address, and health details needed for a visit.
- Staff — provide truthful professional details and documents; keep availability and location permissions accurate when working.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, false documents, or policy violations.
6. Bookings, payments & packages
- Service prices, travel charges, and staff packages shown in the app are estimates or listed rates and may change.
- Payment may be collected through the app, cash, or other methods shown at booking or visit completion.
- Staff package / subscription fees (if any) are subject to our Refund Policy.
- You agree not to bypass platform fees or divert assigned visits in violation of platform rules.
7. Professional care disclaimer
Care is delivered by independent professionals or partner providers matched through the platform. Raksha Kavach facilitates booking and operations; clinical decisions remain with the attending professional. Always share relevant medical history and follow professional advice.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse SOS, spam support channels, or harass users or staff.
- Do not upload forged documents or impersonate another person.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform.
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.
9. Intellectual property
App content, branding, logos, and software are owned by Raksha Kavach or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the app for its intended purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Raksha Kavach is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from visits, delays, cancellations, network issues, or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Raksha Kavach against claims arising from your misuse of the service, inaccurate information you provide, or breach of these Terms.
